RAYMOND L. SEAWRIGHT May 18, 1941 - January 14, 2013 Raymond L. Seawright, age 71, of 316 F Street, passed away at his residence in the early morning hours of Monday, January 14, 2013. He was born in Anderson, SC, and was the son of the late Frank C. Seawright and the late Annie Mae Thacker Seawright. For almost 50 years, he was the loving and devoted husband of the late Clara Mae Burdette Seawright until her death in 2011. Mr. Seawright was a 1960 graduate of Anderson's Boys' High School, and was retired from Kroger Bakery after 25 years of employment as a head mixer. Survivors include 4 sons: Billy Joe Seawright of Anderson, Kenneth Seawright and his wife, Freida of Starr, Scottie Lee Seawright of Anderson and David Seawright of Anderson; also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Clara, Raymond was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Gail Seawright Hamby. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 3 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Timothy Burdette and Mr. Rodney Cobb officiating. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
