Raymond Charles Timmerman, 59, passed away on Tuesday November 29th at his home in Central, SC. Raymond was born in Jackson, SC on April 5th, 1957. After earning a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as a Southern Baptist minister in churches throughout South Carolina, Georgia, and Arkansas. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Jean Timmerman of Jackson, SC. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Teresa Nix Timmerman of La France, SC; his children, Jon Timmerman (Laura) of Central, SC, Tabitha Burch (Stephen) of Seneca, SC, Jessica Timmerman of Central, SC, and Summer Timmerman of Central, SC; and one grandchild Autumn Burch. Raymond is also survived by his three siblings Steven Timmerman (Kay) of Aiken, SC, Valorie Girard (Kevin) of Longmont, CO, and David Timmerman (Tiara) of Windsor, SC. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday December 11th, 2016 at the Bryant Lodge on Southern Wesleyan University's campus on Thomas Lane in Central, SC at 2:30 pm.
