Reba C. Evans Reba Corrine Beach Evans, age 72, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alver Heyward Beach and the late Christine Melton Wilkes. Reba was self-employed in the restaurant business for many years. She loved many things in life, including cooking, animals, boating, and fishing, but her greatest enjoyment came from time spent with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Wayne Evans; three sons, Randy Carl Day and his wife Ann, of Murphy, NC, Ricky Allan Day and his wife Sheila, of Pickens, SC, and Raymond Day Jr., and his wife Kari, of Easley, SC; a daughter, Robin Rae Knight and her husband Bobby, of Pokomoke. MD; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 4 step-children and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. The Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Reba C. Evans will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m. and requests that everyone come dressed comfortably as this will be an informal service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to the charity of one's choice.
