Reba Couch Mitchell, 87, of Belton, SC passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born March 4, 1932, in Seneca, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Calvin Couch and Ada Moore Couch. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1998, James A. "Sonny" Mitchell and brothers Francis, Edgar and David Couch. She was a member of River of Life Church of God. She is survived by her children, Steve Mitchell, Danny Mitchell, Judy Sides, Randy Mitchell (Deralyn) and Connie Vicars all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Irene Chasteen and Annie Childers both of Anderson, SC and Martha Elgin of Troy, MI; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday with Rev. Dale Dyar officiating. Burial will be in Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at 336 Krismark Trail, Anderson, SC 29621.
