Rebecca Lee Ivester, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at her home.

Born August 14, 1940, in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Levi Gilmer and Nora Lee Campbell Stancil. She was also preceded in death by 3 children, 1 grandson, and 1 sister. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Rebecca retired as a certified nursing assistant with Ellenburg Nursing Home. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her son, Dale Ivester; daughter, Pam Ivester; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private burial will be held at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
