Renee McGee Sanders, age 51, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of Dorothy Merz McGee of Anderson, and the late Jefferson McGee. Following high school graduation, Ms. Sanders was employed in the plastics department at Electrolux for approximately thirty years. In addition to her mother, Ms. Sanders is survived by a daughter, Danielle Sanders Hill currently of Anderson, and her fianc , Mr. Angel Castro; three sisters, Valerie McGee of Anderson, April McGee and her fianc, Michelle Brown also of Anderson, and Shari McGee of Rochester, New York; two grandchildren Kylie and Kayden; also surviving are nephews Cameron, Caleb and Tommy, and nieces, Kaylee and Samantha. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her former husband, the late Clete Sanders. The funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Renee Sanders will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Mr. Rae Sherman officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
