Sims, age 55 passed away peacefully on July, 5th 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC. Born in Greenville, SC, on March 2, 1959, Renee was a daughter of Robert Eugene Aspray and the late Hazel Garrison Aspray. She was a graduate of both Greenville High School and North Greenville College. She was a faithful member of Oakdale Baptist Church being very active in the children's ministries. Renee is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Steven Sims; her two loving children, William Alexander Sims and Stefanie Sims Morgan, her husband Seth and their expected son, Clayton Lee Morgan; her siblings, Janice T. Shirley, Joanie Treadway, Robert K. Aspray her twin brother and Ophelia A. Davis; and her mother-in-law, Patsy Sims Grimes. Including her mother, Renee was preceded in death by her father-in-law, William C. Sims. The Funeral Service will be held at Oakdale Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend David Blizzard officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. A private family committal service will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the children's ministries of Oakdale Baptist Church, P.O.
