Reverend Danny Gray, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Williamston, SC, on September 27, 1939, he was the son of the late Truman G. Gray and the late Willie Smith Gray. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Reverend Gray pastored churches in Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina. He served as an Evangelist for six years and retired at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in 2010. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Whitworth Gray; a daughter, Tania Lang and her husband Stuart, of Braselton, GA; two grandchildren, Caleb Lang and his wife Kaley, and Rebekah Lang; and one great-grandson, Jacob Lang. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Mike, Joe and Gary Gray. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Rinks, Dr. Stuart Lang, Dr. Jack Millwood, and Reverend Philip Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church following the interment on Sunday.
