Rhonda Kay Asher, 58, of Anderson, SC, loving wife of Robert Asher, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Born, October 2, 1962 in Hollywood, FL, she is the daughter of Carolyn Fritz Strombeck and the late Ronald Strombeck. Rhonda was the Chief Executive Officer of Big Dog Foundation where she trained rescue dogs into helpful service dogs. She was also an avid motorcyclist. She enjoyed and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her children, Elizabeth Sims (Colton), Jason Strombeck (Harmony), Diana Fiorini (Charlie), and David Fiorini; brother, Ronald Strombeck; sister, Marceline Fiorini; and three grandchildren, Jacob Sims, Preston Strombeck, and Taylor Strombeck. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth.
