Richard Eldon Chubb, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home. Born on October 4, 1959, he was the son of Barbara Chubb and the late Eldon Chubb. He was a supply chain manager for Electrolux for many years. Richard enjoyed reading, gardening, his flower beds and making crafts. He especially enjoyed making gifts for family and friends. He is survived by his husband, Terry Olney, of the home; two daughters, Syndee Olney, of Madison, WI and Tiffany Olney, of Barryton, MI; a brother, Donald Chubb, of Blanchard, MI; and three sisters, Jean Walter and her husband Randy, of Remus, MI, Susan Smith and her husband Terry, of Shepherd, MI, and June Fitzhenery and her husband Gary, of Remus, MI; and three grandchildren, Yasmine, Alexis, and Angelia. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Mr. Darrell Woods officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Upstate for the special support and care they provided.
