Richard H. Mills was called to Star Fleet for a secret mission where no man has gone before on January 20, 2017. He received his training at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics. He brought a lightsaber and a great deal of ammunition with him, not fully understanding the Prime Directive. However, he swears to put a stop to the great Dalek-Borg alliance and believes his sharp-shooting and quick-draw skills will come in handy. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland to Janet and Richard E. Mills on September 30, 1949.
Rick was a lover of all things that made a great deal of noise: guns, drums, and more guns. Once he enthralled a museum full of Canadians about the history of their firearms and discussed drumming with Gene Simmons.
Rick is survived by his wife, Nancy, an artist raised by wolves, their daughter, Heather, an elven wizardess disguised as human, and his son-in-law, Sammy, a friendly android. He has three surviving siblings, Eric, Susan, and Sandra as well as his mother, Janet Mills. Also surviving are his dog, Khan-Juan and the members of the Belton Gun Club.
Farewell, Rick, Earth will miss you but outer space is in need of a good cowboy. May your wit, humor, intelligence, and stunning amount of knowledge serve you well on your mission. Kick some fascist robot booty.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Richard Mills will be held on Friday January 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
