Richard John Wickersheim, age 73, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born June 10, 1951, in Zion, IL, he was the son of the late Wilson George Wickersheim and Eileen Ruth Whitt Wickersheim. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lee Wickersheim.

Rick was a computer programmer for Abbott Labs for 19 years. He loved playing cards, Bridge, traveling and animals.

He is survived by his brothers, Dwight Wickersheim (Virginia) and Bob Wickersheim (Sandy); sisters, Darlene Cassidy (Alan) and Karen Brown (John); brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Yanca; and companion Barbara Greenberg.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date at Wilmot Cemetery in Salem Lakes, WI.
