The McDougald Funeral Home2211 North Main StreetAnderson, SC 29621864-224-4343OBITUARYFLAG RICHARD WUSKE August 31, 1933 - February 2, 2010ANDERSON, SCRichard Lee 'Dick' Wuske, age 76, husband of Dorothy Sloan Wuske of 403 Lakewood Drive, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Canton, Ohio on August 31, 1933, Mr. Wuske was a son of the late Henry L. Wuske and Garnet Lowe Wuske. He was a graduate of Ohio State University earning an Engineering Degree in Ceramics. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Wuske was employed for 33 years with the Harbison-Walker Company a Division of Dresser Industries in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon retirement in 1992, he moved to Anderson and was able to enjoy his many interests. He was a dedicated family man, an enthusiastic Buckeye Fan and enjoyed his many travels. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed boating and fishing with his grandson, Billy. Survived by his loving wife, Dot; daughter, Sandy Wuske Bracken and her husband, Bill and their son, Billy Bracken all of Medina, Ohio; step-daughter, Anna Wilson and her fianc', Fred Metherell of Greenville. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his cherished wife, Nancy J. Wuske and son, Bill Wuske and a brother, Jim Wuske.A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Eugene Sloan. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Pittsburgh, PA with the interment in Jefferson Memorial Park.
