Born in Anderson County on January 22, 1963, she was a daughter of David Elgin and the late Carol Yvonne Smith Bannister. She was a homemaker and member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Piedmont. Survivors include her children: daughters: Lisa, Hope, and Crystal Dean, all of Clemson; son, Lee Dean of Pelzer; brother, Mark Fricks of Pelzer; and granddaughter, Brianna Ownby.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 22, 2009, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, conducted by the Reverend Leon Porter.
