RITA PEPINJanuary 23, 1935 - November 7, 2009 OBITUARY Iva, SC - Mrs. Rita Ann Fahy Pepin, age 74, devoted U.S. Army wife for 20 years of Arthur D. Pepin, of 505 Lake Shore Drive, died Saturday, November 7, 2009. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was a daughter of the late William Daniel Fahy and Ruth Warner Fahy. Mrs. Pepin enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics of Anderson, while her health permitted. She loved flowers and enjoyed working with ceramics. Rita was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anderson. No one ever had a bad word to say about her, and she was everyone's friend. Survivors include her husband; children, Arthur W. Pepin of Santa Fe, NM, David Pepin of Anderson, SC, Lorraine Brozena of West Long Branch, NJ, and Ruth Ann Tuers of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren; a brother and two sisters. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Hayden J. Vaverek. The inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. A Vigil Service will follow at 7:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G.
