Robert Lloyd "Bob" Altman, Jr., age 72, of Anderson, SC, devoted husband to Sandra Drake Altman for 39 years, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born April 30, 1949, in West Point, GA, he was the son of the late Robert L. Altman, Sr., and Lillian Blakely Altman. Bob was a graduate of Athens State University and retired as a store manager with Rite-Aid. Following his retirement while his health permitted, he enjoyed volunteering at AnMed. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. In addition to his loving wife Sandra, he is survived by his daughters, Amy Marroni (Gabe), and Kim Bingham (David); grandchildren, Adam and Luke Marroni; and his beloved dog, Sharpie. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tedder and Reverend Chad Wright-Pittman officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Flowers are optional, and memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
