Robert Louis Brown, age 65, of Iva, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 27, 1959, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Louis Andrew Brown and Elsie Juanita Harris Brown.

Robert started his career with 10 years of service at Iva Manufacturing, moved to BASF with 20 years of service, then to Walgreens Distribution with 13 years of service. During his career, he worked with EMS and the fire department and also managed a red angus beef cattle farm.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Glenda Howell Brown; daughter, Misty Stamey (John); stepson, Ray Linker (Tammy); grandson, Colt Stamey; brother, Randy Brown; sister, Peggy Mullinax; sister-in-law, Pauline Brown; aunt, Mary Ozmint; nephews Chad and Jared; and niece, Tina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Brown; maternal grandparents, George and Eunice Harris; paternal grandparents, John and Bessie Brown; several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm at Iva First Assembly of God. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the church with Rev. Charles Howell, Jr. and Helen Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow at Iva City Cemetery.

Those serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of Iva Rescue Squad and Iva Fire Department.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, 9747 Highway 81 South, Iva, SC 29655.
