Robert Anthony "Tony" Carroll, 59, of Anderson passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home. Born July 13, 1958 in Anderson, SC, Tony was a son to Frances Carolyn Rhodes Carroll and to the late James Carroll. He was a graduate of McDuffie High School class of 1976 and a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Justin Carroll (Simone) of Belton, SC; daughter, Courtney Carroll (Jordan Devall); brother, Jimmy Smith (Kathy) of Williamston, SC; sister, Lesa Carroll (Wayne Holden) of Starr, SC and three grandchildren, Laila, Easton and Hadley Carroll. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Kirt Mitchell, Rev. Wendell Rhodes and Rev. Justin Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm, prior to service time at the funeral home. The family will be accepting flowers.
