Robert Joseph Cheatham, Jr., age 91, formerly of 1203 Hanover Rd., Anderson, SC died on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016. He was born in Anderson, SC, the son of the late Robert Joseph Cheatham and the late Edith Pennell Cheatham of Anderson, SC. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Williamston, SC and an Army Veteran of World War II in the European Theatre. A graduate of Clemson College, he was retired from Burlington Industries. He is survived by his two sons: Robert J. Cheatham, III of Austin, TX and C. Michael Cheatham of Columbia, SC; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife: Dorothy DiBona Cheatham. The family will be available at the home for visitors and no public services are planned.
