ROBERT L. "BOB" CLINKSCALES June 24, 1923 - October 8, 2012 IVA, SC Robert Lee Clinkscales, age 89, of 105 Latham Street, Iva, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Iva, SC, he was the son of the late Newt Clinkscales and the late Kitty Campbell Clinkscales Mauldin. He was a textile worker at the Jackson Mill for many years. He is survived by many nieces and their families as well as many friends whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion of nearly 45 years and the love of his life, Mary Potter and by a brother, Ray Clinkscales. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Generostee ARP Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
