Mitchell was formerly employed in the textiles industry and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters: Dorothy Durham, Terry Oakley, and Jeanette Wood, all of Townville; and brothers: Billy Ray Cobb of Townville and David Cobb of Westminster.He was predeceased by his father and one brother, Gary Cobb.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Scott Scrimpsher.
