'Butch' Davis, age 60, of Starr, SC, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on February 10, 1947, Mr. Davis was the son of the late R. M. Davis and Marie Watson Davis. He was retired as Personnel Manager of Orr Lyons Plant of Springs Industries and was the owner of 'Husband for Hire', a handy-man home improvement service. He was a member of River Street Baptist Church and attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple. Survivors include his son, Jonathan Davis and his wife, Margaret of Charlotte, NC; daughter LuCindy Posey and her husband, Scott of Anderson, SC; sister, Rebecca 'Becki' Fitzgerald of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren and a special friend, Cathy S. Gentry.He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jay Davis.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 12:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Mark Hopkins officiating.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.The family will be at the home of his daughter, 2500 Bellview Road, Anderson, SC.Flowers are accepted, however memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, P.O.
