DUNLAPJANUARY 19, 1933 - OCTOBER 30, 2010ANDERSON, SC ' Robert Earl Dunlap, age 77, of 622 Jackson Road, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at his home.Born in Scranton, PA, on January 19, 1933, he was a son of the late Robert Burns Dunlap and Mary Elizabeth Young Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap served in the United States Air Force from 1950 until 1954. He was a graduate of George Mason University and retired from AT&T with twenty-eight years of service. Following his retirement, he was an active member of the AT&T Telephone Pioneer Group. Mr. Dunlap was a member of Roberts Presbyterian Church. While a resident of Anderson, he was a charter member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Donovan Dunlap; and their sons: A. David Dunlap and wife, Laura of Simpsonville, Thomas M. Dunlap and wife, Stacey of Anderson, and Keith A. Dunlap and wife, Angela of Anderson; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Robert Charles Dunlap.The Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Roberts Presbyterian Church conducted by the Reverend Jack Taylor. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery.The family is at the home and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
