Robert Ernest Miller, formerly of Belton, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at NHC of Anderson. A retired auto mechanic and collector of antique tractors, Mr. Miller was predeceased in February by his wife of 26 years, Dr. Christine C. Miller. Mr. Miller was born May 27, 1934 in Delaware, Ohio, son of the late Robert Elliott Miller and Annabelle Bierce Miller. He served two years in the U.S. Army and, after discharge, had a long and successful career as an automotive and truck mechanic. The Millers had lived in Belton since 1989, where Mr. Miller operated a repair shop and Dr. Miller taught piano and led the music program at St. George's Episcopal Church for many years. A graveside service for Mr. Miller will be held Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church with the Rev. David Bridgforth officiating.
