Robert Lee "Dutch" Free, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at NHC of Anderson, SC. Born in Anderson, SC on August 22, 1928, he was a son of the late Oscar Free and the late Ruth Shore Free. He retired from working in textiles after many years of service. Later he worked as a car dealer. He was a long-time member of West Anderson Church of God. He is survived by his children, Freddy Free (Perri Brooking), Jimmy Free (Diane) , Brad Free (Cheri), and Janice Dunn (Wayne); 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, at West Anderson Church of God at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Daniel and Reverend John Marshall Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.
