Fuller, Jr., age 85, died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Anderson Place Health Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Wytheville, VA on June 29, 1925, Mr. Fuller was the son of the late Robert L. Fuller and Lena C. Fuller. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Norfolk and Western Railroad. Mr. Fuller was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.He is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. White, Sarasota, FL; a son, Jerry L. Fuller, Madison, AL; a grandson, Matthew L. Fuller, Louisville, KY; a stepdaughters, Kathy Harris, South Point, OH; step granddaughter, Pamela Spurling, Toronto, Canada; and step grandchildren, Russell and Laurajean Spurling. Also surviving are treasured niece and nephews, Cathy, Woody and Jeff Jennings.In addition to his parents, Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Fuller Mitchell Hottinger, Ireta Fuller Jennings and Ruby Fuller Buchanan, his first wife, Jamie Frye Fuller and his wife, Julia B. Fuller.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. Tony Smith.
