Robert Gagner, 69, lost his courageous battle with cancer. A battle fought with strength, grace and integrity. He always had a joke or kind word for everyone. He retired from book binding in 2014 and moved to South Carolina. He was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, a proud Navy veteran, a beloved husband, father and friend. He is predeceased by his parents, Joe and Eileen Gagner. He is survived by his wife, Mona (Podsiki) Gagner; children, James Gagner (Beth), Jillian Gagner, Jessica Burley (Will); brother, David Gagner (Peggy); sister Barb Felber (Richard); 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many people whom he inspired with his courageous attitude. No service will be held at this time, but a celebration of his life will be held in Rochester, NY at a future date.
