Robert Allen Hancock, age 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 5, 1956, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Marvin Hancock and Norma Lee Allen.

First and foremost, Robbie loved his Lord and Savior. He was an avid Clemson fan and loved golf, softball and basketball. He was a hard worker who loved his family, especially his loving wife of 50 years. Robbie loved his church and leading others to the Lord. He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, slow southern drawl, and all of his friends. He knew everyone and loved to talk to anyone he met, but he didn't like to hear complaining unless he was the one doing it.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Elizabeth Bridges Hancock; daughters, Lee Ann Baker (Shane) and Amy Compton (Jerome); a sister, Pam McCullough (Rick); grandchildren, Courtney Chamblee, Carleigh Prince, BJ Whisnant (Madison), Karli Baker, Caleb Baker, and Klair Baker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mark Daniel officiating.
