Robert Thomas Kiser, age 93, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born April 19, 1932, in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Kenneth C. Kiser and Emma Kutkuhn Kiser. He was married to Madorah Frances Alexander Kiser until her death in 2005. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary E. Barry. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth M. Kiser (Florence) and Richard D. Kiser.

Bob was a district credit manager with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 32 years and was the co-owner of Anderson Tire and Auto Service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Honor Guard. Bob loved to tell stories. He was a historian who enjoyed sharing tales of his military service. He enjoyed working in his garden and watching Western films. He also enjoyed traveling to various locations with his brothers and sisters-in-law. He will be remembered as a great man who loved his family, instilled family values, and the glue that kept the entire family together.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald "Stephen" Kiser (Carol) and Edward Allen Kiser; daughters, Katherine A. Beck (Eric) and Leslie Kiser; brother, Ronald L. Kiser (Patty); sister-in-law, Lee Kiser; grandchildren, Kyle, Leann, Melanie, Matthew, Evan, Sean, and Jaret; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
