Robert E. Lee, Sr., age 94, of Starr, SC, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 28, 1928, in Anderson, he was the son of the late John Daniel Lee and Bertha Ramey Lee. He was married to the late Clara Effie Gee Allen Lee. He was also preceded in death by 11 siblings and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Robert was a faithful member of Homeland Park Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon and taught Sunday School. In his spare time he enjoyed camping. Robert loved his family dearly and bragging on his two great granddaughters who were his pride and joy. He is survived by his son, Robert E. Lee, Jr. (Susan) of Starr; granddaughter, Robin Marie Lee Clark (Chris); and great grandchildren, Cassidy Victoria Clark and Allie Marie Clark. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 pm at Homeland Park Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. James Strickland and Rev. Tony Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
