12:00 - 4:00 pm (Eastern time)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Patrick “Bob” Lusk, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on June 18, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 30, 1949, in Pickens, South Carolina to the late Robert Lewis Lusk and Lillian Barbara Smolinsky Lusk.
A proud graduate of Clemson University with a juris doctorate from University of South Carolina, Bob dedicated his professional life to the legal field, where he was respected and admired for his intelligence, dependability, and unwavering loyalty. His approach to the law, much like his approach to life, was marked by compassion and a desire to make a meaningful difference. Bob was not just a skilled lawyer; he was a listener and a grounding presence, known for his quiet observational nature and a delightful sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him.
Bob was deeply proud of his family, which included his cherished daughter, Lauren Lusk, who was truly his world. He was a loving father and an adoring grandfather to his granddaughters, Monroe Moore and Madison Wells. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Lusk Romansky (John); Lauren’s mother, Kathy Lusk, as well as his niece and nephew, Sara Moore and Chris Romansky. His peaceful spirit, selflessness, and innate curiosity made him a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew him. He embraced life with a spirit that resonated warmth and kindness.
Despite his physical stature, Bob was a gentle soul, a teddy bear who approached life with a unique charm and a collection of memorable one-liners that often left others laughing. The aisles of stores were graced by his presence, always on the lookout for a great deal, a testament to his playful nature and joyful heart.
As we gather to celebrate Bob’s extraordinary life, we will reflect on the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life drop-in will be held at The Ravines Clubhouse on Friday June 26, 2026 from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm, where we will gather to remember this remarkable man who lived a life full of love, humor, and generosity.
May Bob’s peaceful spirit continue to shine through the memories we hold dear, bringing comfort and solace to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
