Robert K. McAlister, age 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born September 14, 1959, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Preston and Jeanette Tucker McAlister. He was married for 24 years to Ann Ayers McAlister until her death in 2021. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim McAlister.

Robert enjoyed stock car racing and loved animals. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister Dale Hurray and her husband Robert.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will host a visitation prior to the funeral service from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.
