Robert Michael Miller, age 48, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018, while working in Massachusetts. Born in Plymouth, IN, he was the son of Deborah Dickerhoff Littleton and her husband Randy, of Pendleton, SC and the late Michael Miller. Rob was a 1988 graduate of Pendleton High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Desert Storm aboard the USS Truxton. He was employed by Stockton Infrared Thermographic Services and was a former Boy Scout Leader. He was a faithful member of Crossway Community Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Tanya Spyker Miller; a son, Brock Todd Miller, of the home; a daughter, Mary Jordan "M.J." Miller of Warrensburg, MO; a brother, Ryan Miller (Brittney), of Marietta, GA; a sister, Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Gossett (Greg), of Belton, SC; father and mother -in-law, Jerry and Connie Spyker; and a nephew, Chase Gossett. He is also survived by close extended family in Indiana, Ohio, and Arizona. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Miller. The funeral service with Military Honors will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery on Friday, November 2, 2018, at 10:00 am with Reverend C.W. Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Brock Miller will be receiving friends at the family home.
