Robert Day Smith Pidgeon died on March 7, 2016 in Aldie, VA. He was 53. Mr. Pidgeon was born on January 7, 1963 in Memphis, TN to his parents, Philip Pidgeon III and Ms. Dorothy Smith Pidgeon McCuddy. Mr. Pidgeon is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Philip Pidgeon IV of Anderson, SC; and his sister, Dorothy Bradford Pidgeon of Memphis, TN. The family expresses its deepest gratitude to Julian and Laurie Kaplan and their children for providing Bob with a home along with care and support during the last years of his life in Clifton, VA. A private family graveside service will be held at Old Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Living Hope Presbyterian Church, 110 Federal St. Bay 5, Anderson, SC 29625.
