Smith, age 71, of 308 Brooks Drive, Townville, SC, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Greer, SC, son of the late Alvin and Agnes McMahan Smith. He was a retired technical advisor with Gregory Pest Control. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force and loved spending time with his family, his church and traveling. He enjoyed making stained glass and volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bob was an active member of Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church in Townville, SC.He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty Smith; two children, Russell Smith and Victoria Chance, both of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Williams.The family will receive friends at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church in Townville, SC with a Memorial Service following at 4:00 pm. officiated by the Reverend Paul Mitchell.
