Born in New Orleans, LA, he was the son of the late Robert Walker Sutton, Sr. and the late Lillian A. Henderson Sutton. He had served in the United States Navy, and worked has a technician at Bosch-AFCO. Mr. Sutton was a member of New Springs Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Clanton Sutton of Anderson, SC; sons, Ryan Sutton and his wife, Evelyn of Anderson, SC, and Shawn Sutton also of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Haygan, Carter, Layla, Maddox, Riot and Landon Sutton; sisters, Jackie Boyd and her husband, Bob of Baton Rouge, LA, Lynne Ross of Slidell, LA, Debbie Kelley and her husband, Steve of Murfreesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Singleton officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
