Robert George White, age 56, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC. Born in Massena, NY, on September 27, 1959, he was the son of Alberta Marguerite Derwael White, of Anderson, SC and the late Everett White. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for eight years and worked with Ashmore Brothers in asphalt road construction. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Vicky White, of Iva; three nephews and three nieces; and six great-nephews and two great-nieces. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Everett White; and a sister, Diane Glenn. The Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of his mother, 206 E.
