Robert Thomas Woodworth, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home in Iva. Born in Columbus, GA, on February 3, 1949.He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years and 3 months and earned the rank of Master Sergeant. Following his military career, he retired from the University of Maryland. Robert was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Marie Harrell Woodworth, two sons, Darwin Luther Woodworth and his wife Tracy of Texas and Burke Lee Woodworth, of Iva, SC; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
