Wilton Robin "Rock" McCurley of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Robin was born in Anderson, SC on July 22, 1956, to the late Gaines Inman McCurley and the late Mary Frances Burke Neal.

He spent his early years working alongside his dad learning the trade of engine repair. While living in Atlanta, Robin became a chef and retired from the Courtyard by Marriott. Robin spent many years camping and fishing with his family. Fishing became one of his favorite pass times. He was a sports enthusiast and in his free time enjoyed watching any sport but really enjoyed rooting for his Atlanta Falcons and Clemson Football. Robin was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Robin leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Robin Campbell McCurley; children, Jeremy Allen McCurley, Vanessa Lynn Baldwin, and Matthew Ryan McCurley; brother, William "Bill" McCurley; sisters, Melody Chambers, Mimi Hartloper and Mary Lee Plunk; and grandson, Dylan Michael Brenneman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 206 Hill Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
