Robin Lee Evans Montion, age 61, of 107 Zula Circle, Starr, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center with her family by her side. Born on February 7, 1956, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Evans and the late Thelma Snyder Evans. Mrs. Montion obtained an associate of science degree in nursing. After coming to Anderson with her family she worked for over twenty-two years as a licensed practical nurse at Ellenburg, Nursing Center. She enjoyed very much her visits to the North Georgia Mountains and reading. Survivors include a son, Sean Montion of Starr; a daughter, Monica Childress and partner, Cody Dilworth of Anderson; three brothers, Randy Evans and his wife, Natalie of Maumee, OH; Rod Evans and his wife, Adeline, of Ellijay, GA; and Rick Evans of Hudson, MI; a sister, Rhonda Watt and her husband, David, of Lawrenceville, GA; and two grandchildren, Alexis Kirkus and Finton Dilworth. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montion was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Evans. A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Robin Montion will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. The family will be at the residence of Monica Childress, 115 Bridgeview Drive, Anderson, SC 29625.
