BLANTON April 19, 1963 - April 20, 2008PENDLETON, SCMr. Roger Darril Blanton, age 45, husband of Sherry Cartee Blanton of 98 Breazeale Road, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on April 19, 1963, Mr. Blanton was a son of Jackie and Jean Moon Blanton. He was a Dump Truck Contractor for Ashmore Brothers and a member of Faith Fellowship in Pendleton.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Cartee Blanton of the home; sons, Jason A. Blanton and his wife, Jessica of Starr and Bradley Thomas Blanton of the home; daughters, Dana Leann Blanton of Anderson and Savanna Jean Blanton of the home and two grandchildren, Joseph & Jaxson Blanton of Starr; brother, Robert Dale Blanton and his wife, Renee' of Anderson. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sharon and Caren Blanton.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 4:00 pm at Faith Fellowship in Pendleton conducted by the Reverend Delano McMinn and the Reverend Sam Duncan. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.
