Roger Dale Burdette, age 60, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 27, 2021, with his wife by his side. Born September 29, 1960, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Sloan Cleveland Burdette and Doris Wilson Burdette. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Sandra Ertzberger Burdette; daughter, Brittany Burdette (Daniel Hart) of Anderson, SC; son, Jarrett Burdette of Anderson, SC; and brother, James Burdette (Amy) of Iva, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Cleveland Burdette; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Ethel Wilson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 12:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. James Dyar officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
