Roger Forbes Kellogg, age 79, beloved husband of Mary Ellen Stack Kellogg, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at National Healthcare of Anderson. Born in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Raymond Kellogg and the late Dorothy Wild Kellogg. Mr. Kellogg attended The Citadel and transferred to Fairleigh Dickinson University where he obtained a bachelor's degree. He was an air traffic controller for many years and was an active member of South Main Chapel and Mercy Center. In addition to his wife, Mary Ellen Kellogg, Mr. Kellogg is survived by a son, Jesse Zdonek (Karen) of Greenville; two daughters, Ann Kellogg Cothran (Ben) of Anderson and Laurie Kellogg McCall (Eric) of Bluffton, SC; a sister, Sharon Richardson (Jack) of Bridgeport, VA; six grandchildren Joey and Gabe McCall, Rachel and Matthew Cothran, and Ansley and Eli Zdonek; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, and last but far from least, Hannibal the cat. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Roger Kellogg will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Kurt Stutler officiating. Interment will be held later at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
