He was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and was employed by Plastic Omnium and was a former employee of Vytech.He is survived by his caring wife of 24 years, Linda Galloway Steadman; loving daughters, Tina Steadman Dacus and her husband, Chris of La France and Becky Steadman Blackwell and her husband, Wayne of Walhalla; eight wonderful grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his second mother, Mildred Steadman of Anderson; brothers, Clifford Odell Steadman, Jr., and his wife, Gloria of Inman, Rodney Steadman and his wife, Debbie and Eric Steadman and his wife, Denise, all of Anderson; step-brothers, Bob Steadman and his wife, Donna and Don Steadman and his wife, Nancy; step-sister, Kathy Richey and her husband, Terry, all of Anderson; several 'special' nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, Sabastian and Jazzy.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Brad Shirley and John Tilson. Interment of his ashes will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
