Roger Joe Suttles, Jr., age 50, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home. Born in Anderson, SC on November 26, 1965, he was the beloved son of Bobbie Suttles and the late Roger Joe Suttles. He was a tree surgeon and a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children, Michael, Cody, and Kimberly Suttles; three grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; and his Pit Bull, Hutch. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Suttles, Lawrence McCoy and Josie Suttles. The Funeral will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeremy Bell officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the home of his aunt, Judy Owens, 320 Brooks Road, Belton, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Tabor Baptist Church, 5901 Hwy 187, Anderson, SC 29625.
