He was a roofer and attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include his spouse, Mikal McAlister; children: John Williams of Belton, and Misty Williams of Anderson; siblings: Annette Jackson of Abbeville, Claudine Sessoms of Belton, Thomas Williams of Anderson, Ronald Williams of Anderson, Delores Garrett of Belton, and Kenneth Williams of Starr; and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Linda Williams; and a sister, Glenda Landreth.The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, August 5, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
