Ronald Lawrence Pfeiler, age 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 5, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late Arno Joseph Pfeiler and Evelyn Lois Adkinson Pfeiler. Ron lived in Maryland most of his life where he was an accountant and owned a successful school bus business. In 2015, he retired to Anderson where he brought his school bus expertise to Anderson District Five. He was a member of Asbury Baptist Church. Ron was described as a gentleman by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Morrison and Karen Pfeiler; sisters, Karen Hein, Cindy Weidenbenner, and Jacqueline Napolitano; and grandchildren, Haylie and Kelsie Morrison. Those left to cherish his memory include his nieces and nephews and Meagan Romero. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rylie Morrison; and twin brother, Randy Pfeiler. The family will host a remembrance service on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Asbury Baptist Church, 2770 Centerville Rd., Anderson, SC, 29625. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service. Another service will be held on July 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the home of Brian and Ashley King, 904 Randell Road, Severna Park, MD 21146.
