Ronald "Ron" Watson Adams, age 61, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Anderson, SC on April 10, 1955, he was the son of the late John W. Adams and the late Betty Watson Adams. He was self-employed with sales and marketing. Ron was a member of Asaville Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Purdy Adams; two daughters, Amy Olivia Adams (Ashley Dowdy), and Kerry Alicia Adams; and a sister, Patricia Adams Smith (Frank). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Adams. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Asaville Baptist Church with Reverend Drew Martin, Reverend David Pickens, and his brother-in-law, Mr. Marty Purdy officiating. Interment will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home.
