Ronald Jason Dunn, age 85, of Anderson, SC, devoted husband to the late Georgia Bell Skelton Dunn, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. Born November 15, 1937, in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Talford Phoenix Dunn and Jenny Faye Richey Dunn. Jason retired from J.P. Stevens in management and also worked for Anderson County School District 5 in the warehouse. He loved woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Roger Dunn (Donna Wilson) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Kathy Dunn of Greenville, SC; 4 grandchildren, Deidra Mull (Cory), Jessica Bagwell (Neil), Brandon Hammond, and Nikki Mann; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and loving wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roderick and Gary Dunn; sisters, Betty Jo Dickson, Lou Ester Rainey, and Freddie Dean Ryder; and children, Vince and Michelle Dunn. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Dickson officiating. The family host a gathering at the home of Deidra Mull following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
