RONALD EDWARD EAVES December 2, 1947 - March 21, 2007IVA, SCMr. Ronnie Eaves, age 59, formerly of Iva, SC, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton, GA.Born in Anderson, SC on December 2, 1947, Mr. Eaves was a son of the late Jessie Edward Eaves and Lillian Lewis Eaves. He helped his father at Iva Barber Shop as a shoeshine boy and was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. He was a resident of the Whitten Center for many years and also the McAbee Residence Home.Survivors include two brothers, Tim Eaves of Starr and Randy Eaves of Anderson; a sister, Jan Whitaker of Anderson; sixteen nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Eaves.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Temple. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.
